16 hours and counting
So, it's now been 16 hours of continuous snowing. And it's not showing any signs of letting up. I had a snow day, as did everyone else in the province
Abby and I were just outside. No easy task as the snow is waist deep. The task of letting her pee involved me pushed the storm door to get enough of an opening to get the shovel through the door. I had to stand inside and shovel our way out. And the queen wasn't content with a small space, she wanted several feet square to pee in. Ughhhh.
This was earlier today. She likes a little snow but not this much. She's begging to get back in.
The whole process must have stressed her out and she needed to relax......
This was my version of de-stressing....a warm brownie with ice cream
Let's hope I can get out the door in the morning. When is it going to stop snowing???
I think I need to check out the chocolate drawer again

I'd need to check the wine rack!
ReplyDeletewell I hope you can get out your door. I like the way you and Abby handle stress.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will stop tonight.
I hope it eases up soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Saundra's comment :)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Lauren
It is nice to have the time off but knowing you have to dig out would stress me to the max. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a lot of snow. I live where there's none. I heard on the radio today that somewhere up East there was 4" falling per hour. I can't imagine. I like the idea of having a warm brownie with ice cream, sounds just right.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're weathering the storm in style with good food. The wind has finally died down here and my husband is just coming in from snow plowing snow plowing .
ReplyDeleteI have a huge snow drift in front of my garage door and in the front of my house. I had to walk to the barn bundled up like an esquimos and survived the day. The wind was so strong I thought it was going to blow me away.
I hope you managed a little sewing today.
It's passed my bed time. Take care and stay safe and warm.
Hugs,
Julia
Jack and I were talking about all my blog buddies going through this horrible winter out east and north. I can't believe we're not getting hit. Prayers, hugs and that brownie looks like it can cure blizzard blues! Stay home, safe and warm. One thing about being a health care worker, I still have to get there even in a blizzard! Been there done that!
ReplyDeleteMorning Kim, holy crap that is a lot of snow, hope it stops for you....keep safe, eat
ReplyDeleteIt's of chocolate,Hugs Francine.
Poor Abby. Chocolate is good but how is the wine supply doing?
ReplyDeleteMy sister in down east Maine got 36 inches. Looks like you might of beat that record.
