I lost my step

Actually I lost my Fitbit.  I had it Monday when I woke up but it appears that at some point in the pre-work routine it slipped off my arm. ☹️
Without that stupid wrist band to motivate me I notice I'm slacking off some.  I keep hoping it will turn up.     In other not nice news my washing machine has died.  Actually it died a couple of weeks ago but I've been in denial.
Naturally a major appliance would die immediately after I spent all my money on new floors.   I've been lugging my laundry to aunties but today I decided to go shopping.  I picked one out, very basic, nothing fancy.  Guess I will bite the bullet and get it next week.  A friend wants my old one to use the metal drum for a fire pit so I won't have to worry about getting rid of the dead one   They will just take it away.  Silver lining I guess  This week was crazy busy at work and next week is looking the same.  But auntie and I are going on a short road trip tomorrow. I can't wait for lunch.   Our favorite seaside restaurant is open for the season.   I dream about their fried clams all winter   They are truly the best in the world!

  1. Have a nice trip. I hope you get to eat to your hearts content. I hope you have lovely weather. Too bad about your washing machine. I wonder why it happens like that? I hope you find your fitbit. You know it is so weird how obsessive I get with that thing and how I just feel like I don't have to walk if it isn't on. I put a link on my blog to your new site just now. I thought you should know if you start getting some traffic. Have a nice weekend.

  4. I can think of one place your fitbit might be...a collar on Abby? Did all that walking make your arms so thin it just fell off? I've become attached to my fitbit too and since it sends messages I look forward to picking it up in the morning hoping for a nice compliment or something...I'm just not right in the head. I hate buying appliances and also vacuums and hand mixers...such money waste when a nice vacation is much more beneficial! Enjoy your lunch and day trip!

  5. It is just about time for my 20 year old washer and/or dryer to die and am dreading the day. Since building the house and before Bruce left me the refrigerator was replaced, the water heater replaced and after the divorce I had to buy both a new heat pump as well as furnace. Hate spending mega bucks on anything other than wool or rug camps.

  6. Sorry and sorry! Seems like when it rains it pours. Hope your fit bit turns up and it's so hard to go without a washer. Sounds like your time with your aunt will be fun, it's always good to visit a favorite restaurant.

  7. Sorry your machine is dead and you lost your fit bit. I have an app on my phone to count steps and calories. I am sure it is not as good as yours but it is something.
